Julia, Edison, Jessica & Julie-Rose Gould

Natives of Trinidad and Tobago, Julia and Edison Gould arrived in the United States as young people following their families in search of new opportunities. As they settled into city life, they were each startled by the confining nature of New York apartment living. This strange community structure was a far cry from the spacious, rural neighborhoods they had known growing up in the Caribbean. After saving money for years in hopes of escaping apartment life, their dream came true when they had the opportunity to move into a Nehemiah home. As a result of their sacrifice and the opportunity afforded to them by EBC, the Goulds were able to provide a picturesque childhood for their two daughters, Jessica and Julie-Rose.
